Isn't it Supposed to be Easy?

When the going gets tough, it's interesting how you can begin to search all of the depths for the curiosity you have been looking for. Here are a few tracks for when you are feeling stuck on something or someone. When your try to figure out when it's time to turn the page or not. Because, "people have scares in all sorts of unexpected places. Like secret road maps of their personal histories, diagrams, of all their old wounds. Villians  by JohhnySwim is such a wonderful couple and music duo. I love this song because it talks about the essential essence of communicating. And a couple or a potential pair becoming villians because almost as if these two have found their match and doing a dance. Somehow, there is some sort of miscommunication. The two parties involved are miscommunicating and missing each other and sparks a disagreement instead of intimacy, companionship. Highlights, from this song:

Idfc by Blackbear:  This track, I heard from a koala control playlist on youtube. I don’t know much about the artist. However, the general meaning is when you like someone but for whatever reason, you can’t seem to muster up the courage to tell them.

The awkward phases of beginning a relationship or friendship, someone always to be the first to reveal some disclosure or facts about themselves to advance the relationship. But how? What if you reveal too much and the other person doesn’t feel the same way? Then it becomes scary so you take in that awkward terriority because you are afraid of being vulnerability and you deflect whatever you are feeling or ignore your feelings to avoid being hurt.  The chorus repeats;

They say if it scares you, you should probably just get of your chest and tell the person how you feel if your feelings aren’t reciprocated at least you know and then you can get on with your life.  

With You by Illenuim ( feat) Quinn XCIIIt seems as if the big fad now is to take intense ambient beats or electronic beats and speak or sing about heartbreaking topics when it comes to matters of the heart. This track does exactly just that. It appears that communication is to hard, one is breaking down, and the distance makes it even harder. One party feels stuck and wants to fill the silence, loneiliness, and boredom. There is a communication breakdown which leads to the ultimate hault in the relationship and stuck in this awkward phase of no progress. Be as friends or lovers, what can you. It starts off,

Split Screen Sadness by John Mayer- Most John Mayer fans would say this song would hit spot on. It’s so beautiful and so raw and true. Both parties feel the sadness, of what could have been and almost relationship. John Mayer says,

One party is tempting to walk out the door, and there is nothing the other half can do to stop them. Deep down they both know it’s wrong choice but after endless efforts, they are both tired and don’t know how to ignite the love they seek. So they both feel the sadness of what could have been.

No room for Doubt by Lianne Ha Haves  This seems as if the story line doesn’t get any better. Will it come to fruition or will they always be wondering what if? When is the definite answer? How do you know when you reached that so called thing love?

They are trying one another to see if the other will past the test. Because neither wants to be hurt.

So they continue to do a dance as the feelings remain unspoken. Almost as if they are tragic lovers.

Breakable by Ingrid Michealson Again, in any other scenario, to build the trust and intimacy that both seek it involves actually being vulnerable. They are still so tired they don’t give in.

That’s the funny thing love is complicated, people have pasts and histories there is no telling what happened to them in the past. There are various meaings to this song but, I like the interpretation of two people trying to figure it out. Whatever "it"is.
